The beauty of having such enormous blocks is tha the individual parts of each block aren't so tiny that they are difficult to quilt. It's wonderful, by the way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-77003514215922324772013-02-09T16:46:35.973-07:002013-02-09T16:46:35.973-07:00The top looks great. If you are in the mood for experimenting, look through designs you thought you'd like to try and pick one. Most anything is going to look good on that top, so agonizing is not allowed. =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-57977423258389271672013-02-09T15:21:18.340-07:002013-02-09T15:21:18.340-07:00Wow your starburst is so pretty! I've seen a few antique quilts that do that and then a fancy patter in the block. Lots of ways you can do this. Even maybe something like: http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/2012/02/sparkle-punch-quilt-along-finishing-the-quilt.html. I used that for a pattern once. Fun method and goes pretty quick!beepshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428149164668904241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-19766565397368455612013-02-09T08:26:14.336-07:002013-02-09T08:26:14.336-07:00My hubby is not only a chef, he's a computer g...My hubby is not only a chef, he's a computer geek (he's the web master for several sites), so if I have computer issues I just pass things off to him! Yes, I'm quite spoiled. :)

I've been thinking about the quilting myself. I'm making the 76 x 76 quilt size, but I've done queen size quilts before on my domestic machine, so the size doesn't scare me (besides, I'm the kind-of person who is so stubborn that I refuse to let anything intimidate me for too long.). It's what I'm going to do that is stumping me. I'm leaning towards a custom quilt job. I kind-a did one here ( http://www.dewings.us/blog/2013/01/11/because-i-love-you/ ) for my sister and I really enjoyed it. There are things that are SO touchy with the mouse movement. I put it on desktop. (I didn't get the touchscreen version).. and the sidebar things pop up ALL the time!! So many things to get used to. I wish they could just leave well enough alone.. I noticed some of the material has circles in it so I just thought pebbles would look nice. It's a great quilt, so I bet it will look great no matter what quilting you place on it.
