First off, I would like to say Thank You to all of you who quilted-a-long with me. This has been such a wonderful and successful Quilt-A-Long and that is because of each of you. I loved reading how so many of you were quilting along for the first time and really stretching outside your comfort zone to try new things. That is what Quilt-A-Longs are all about!! I loved seeing each of your individual creativity come out in this pattern, truly amazing. And now, you all have absolutly beautiful finishes to show for all of your hard work.
And speaking of finishes . . . Did you happen to see how many there are. 75!!! That is totally awesome!! You all are the greatest to Quilt-A-Long with!!! ReplyDeleteSo many Happy finishes. Mine won't be quilted until at least this summer, and that all depends on when/if my darling husband makes me a stand for my quilt frame. Love hand quilted quilts the best! Congrats to all the winners. I'm jealous inside ; )

ReplyDeleteEveryone has done a fabulous job with their Starbright quilts... both finished and unfinished. I love the different uses of color combos and seeing the personal touches. Congrats to the winners. And Melissa, thank you for this opportunity. This was my very first QAL and I not only had fun, but learned how to improve on those pesky triangle points. ;-) Well done every one.

ReplyDeleteEvery one of the quilts are beautiful. I always think that a great pattern will work in almost any fabric, to congratulations to Melissa for that. The quilt along has been fun, and it was broken down into achieveable steps, shown by how many were finished on time. Finally I must say what a wonderful host and teacher Melissa is. She puts an encouraging and positive comment on every flickr photo, and her instructions were so thorough and precise. Thanks so very much.
